This fall, I'll be participating in the Edwardsville Art Fair, just across the river in Illinois. This is my first juried art fair, and I'm really looking forward to being part of it. I've been making lots of new and different items just for this one.
Another year of the best Indie Craft Festival in the midwest. 200 Artists and Crafters, local musicians, food, and beer. Family friendly, and dogs are welcome.
This year, the festival moves indoors and takes over the old Union Station mall. All the usused store fronts and hallway spaces will be converted to craft vendor space.
My 4th year, and it was really crazy. Security at the mall said they havent seen that many people downtown since the place opened. Estimated attendance was over 30,000.
For the third year in a row, I've made the cut to be one of the 150 vendors at Strange Folk Festival. September 27-28 in O'Fallon, Illinois. Just across the river from St Louis.
Its the largest indie craft fair in the midwest, with some of the most original artists and crafters you'll see anywhere.
This great resource for metal clay artists did a special issue on men who work in metal clay. Yes, this medium is still overwhelming dominated by women, but Im working to change that!
They asked me to submit a few photos of my work to be featured, and my Allegro Lily #2 made the cut. You can see it in the gallery section.
Another fine year at this great show!
Its the largest indie craft festival in the midwest. Art, music, beer, food, and tons of handmade crafts of all kinds. Runs the last weekend in September, in O'Fallon, Illinois, just 20 minutes East of St Louis.
Its the largest outdoor indie craft fest in the midwest! 150 vendors, 10 live bands, plus food, beer, and lots of people. They said over 15,000 people attended. Well worth going to, Im definitely trying this one again.
